Samy Schiavo (born December 24, 1975 in Avignon) is a retired French mixed martial artist and taekwondo fighter. Schiavo has previously fought in Cage Rage and the UFC. Schiavo signed with the UFC early in 2008 and made his debut at UFN 13 losing to Clay Guida by TKO late in round 1.〔http://bleacherreport.com/articles/12898-ufc-samy-schiavo-vs-clay-guida〕 Schiavo fought for the second time in the octagon at UFC 89 in Birmingham, England against Per Eklund. Despite winning the first two rounds thanks to his stand up, Schiavo lost the fight by submission after he tapped out to a rear-naked choke in round 3. Following the loss he was released by the UFC. Schiavo seeks a return to competition in February of 2013 at Cage Contender XVI in Dublin, Ireland where he is expected to make his bantamweight debut against Northern Ireland's Steve McCombe. The fight was cancelled after Schiavo suffered inner ear disease. Shortly after he announced his definitive retirement from competition and his desire to focus on his academy and his students. In October of 2013 Schiavo received his Brazilian jiu-jitsu brown belt from the hands of UFC fighter and Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt Renee Forte. ==Mixed martial arts record== |- | Loss | align=center| 10–6 | Per Eklund | Submission (rear-naked choke) | UFC 89 | | align=center| 3 | align=center| 1:47 | Birmingham, England | |- | Loss | align=center| 10–5 | Clay Guida | TKO (punches) | UFC Fight Night 13 | | align=center| 1 | align=center| 4:15 | Broomfield, Colorado, United States | |- | Win | align=center| 10–4 | Paul Jenkins | Submission (arm-triangle choke) | Cage Rage Contenders: Dynamite | | align=center| 1 | align=center| 4:06 | Dublin, Ireland | |- | Win | align=center| 9–4 | Mark Dayrell | TKO (punch) | Cage Rage Contenders: The Real Deal | | align=center| 1 | align=center| 0:08 | Dublin, Ireland | |- | Win | align=center| 8–4 | Chris Stringer | KO (punches) | Cage Rage 21 | | align=center| 1 | align=center| 0:18 | Belfast, Northern Ireland | |- | Win | align=center| 7–4 | Bruno Freitas | TKO (strikes) | Climax Fighting Championships 2 | | align=center| 1 | align=center| 0:35 | Bercy, France | |- | Win | align=center| 6–4 | Sami Berik | Submission (rear-naked choke) | CWFC: Strike Force 5 | | align=center| 1 | align=center| 2:32 | Coventry, England | |- | Win | align=center| 5–4 | Christophe Bea | Submission (triangle choke) | Climax Fighting Championships 1 | | align=center| 1 | align=center| 2:45 | Bercy, France | |- | Loss | align=center| 4–4 | Eiji Mitsuoka | Submission (rear-naked choke) | GCM - D.O.G. 3 | | align=center| 1 | align=center| 2:12 | Tokyo, Japan | |- | Loss | align=center| 4–3 | Jean Silva | Submission (triangle choke) | Cage Rage 9 | | align=center| 1 | align=center| 4:40 | London, England | |- | Loss | align=center| 4–2 | Robbie Olivier | Submission (rear-naked choke) | Cage Rage 7 | | align=center| 1 | align=center| 2:34 | London, England | |- | Win | align=center| 4–1 | Paul Sutherland | TKO (punches) | Cage Rage 5 | | align=center| 1 | align=center| 0:14 | London, England | |- | Loss | align=center| 3–1 | Jean Silva | Submission (arm-triangle choke) | CWFC 2 - Fists of Fury | | align=center| 3 | align=center| 3:47 | London, England | |- | Win | align=center| 3–0 | Brian Woodward | Submission (rear-naked choke) | CWFC 1 - Armageddon | | align=center| 1 | align=center| 0:22 | Portsmouth, England | |- | Win | align=center| 2–0 | Stephane Jamet | Submission (guillotine choke) | French MMA Open | | align=center| 1 | align=center| 0:29 | Paris, France | |- | Win | align=center| 1–0 | Shinya Tsuchida | Decision (majority) | Golden Trophy 2000 | | align=center| 3 | align=center| 5:00 | Orléans, France | 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「Samy Schiavo」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
